[WORK] Download NBA Live 2006 PC Game 2005

NBA LIVE 2006 gives you the opportunity to play a basketball season for the stars of the first magnitude or thrive as part of an underdog team. Experienced athletes now have special abilities, and all players have learned a few new tricks. The behavior of the ball on the field, the detailed visualization of what is happening and the elaboration of the appearance and image of the players became more realistic. The gameplay soundtrack deserves special praise.

The best way to sum up NBA Live 06 on the Xbox 360 is that it feels a lot like NBA Live 05 with a fresh coat of paint thrown on. Aside from minor tweaks here and there, not a lot has changed with the basic gameplay, which should feel very familiar to longtime fans of the series. The graphics definitely are a great step up from previous-generation basketball games, especially with the fantastic character models in the game. Unfortunately, NBA Live 06 doesn't look quite as good as it should in motion, thanks to poorly blended animation and a sometimes uneven frame rate. The game also doesn't look very impressive on a standard-definition TV. The lack of a franchise mode further hurts long-term replayability. If you've been a longtime player of NBA Live and want to get a peek at the direction EA is taking the series in, then the game is still worth checking out. But taken as a full product, it falls short of delivering a true next-generation basketball experience.

In addition to new features, NBA Live 06 is designed to deliver the action and accuracy fans of the series have come to expect. The game offers an expanded Dynasty mode that allows players to lead their favorite teams far into the future. As with earlier editions, a full NBA license allows inclusion of all the league's real-life teams, rosters, and arenas. Television-style presentation includes play-by-play and commentary from Marv Albert and Steve Kerr.

NBA Live continues to be a series that doesn't know what it wants to be. As a simulation, the 2006 version fails miserably; it's much better as a casual pick-up-and-play arcade game, but the default gameplay is ridiculously easy, providing little challenge for veteran players unless you go in and massively tweak the game's multitude of gameplay sliders, which is something many casual fans are unlikely to spend time doing.

The play by play delivered by Marv Albert and Steve Kerr is extremely dull. Albert sounds like he has a train to catch and Kerr as if he's reading from a script rather that watching a live game. Great play by play, particularly in a fast game like basketball, can add so much atmosphere to a game, and that added level of excitement is missing here.

After the release of NBA Live 10, EA attempted to retool the series under a new name with NBA Elite 11. However, the game was met with bad publicity and development problems before release and was cancelled (though a playable demo was released for download, and several copies of the full release found their way to customers). In November 2010, development of the franchise was moved from EA Canada studio to Florida-based Tiburon studio. It was eventually announced that the series' next installment would be released in Fall 2012 and would return to the NBA Live name as NBA Live 13,[1] but it would later be announced, on September 27, 2012, that they would cancel the release.[2] It wasn't until the fall of 2013, that the next game, NBA Live 14, would be released. Prior to its release, EA Sports had sold 33.54 million copies of the video game series since NBA Live 95, just falling short of its main competitor, NBA 2K's 37.24 million copies sold since its inception in 1999.[3]

With a new season of the NBA comes a new edition to the NBA Live series. NBA Live 06 lets you play as professional basketball teams in the NBA 2005-2006 season. You can play in single player Dynasty Mode, which allows you to play 25 seasons with your team, draft and trade players, as well as control players movements in mid-air for ultimate control of dunks and other moves. The game features graphics and AI that are improved from the last NBA Live game and real commentary from Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny "The Jet" Smith.
